It is no accident that the boutique is located in the quaint and stylish merchant area along 112 Avenue in the historic community of Highlands. There is something special about being surrounded by the heritage and history that comes with the community, just as it is with the furniture that comes into the studio. At Apple Box the belief is that aged doesn't have to mean worn out; that which was once loved can be loved again and continue to inspire beautiful rooms. Inspiration
Asked what inspires her, Leanne (known affectionately around the studio as 'Chief Reimaginer') said, "I am originally from Ontario, Canada where I was raised partly in a metropolis and partly in a rural county. Now living out west, I am still not sure if I am a city girl or a country girl, but one thing I do know is that I love home decor, be it urban and modern or rural and cottagey. My taste is eclectic, and I love to mix the old with the new to create unique and inviting rooms."
