Primer Red
Deep red ochre is a color found in practically every culture from Venetian palaces to Vietnamese temples. Red earths were plentiful and relatively easy to come by so the color is often associated with the color for priming furniture and as the base coat for gilding. Soft Wax - Clear
The wax is the consistency of soft margarine in a tub so it is easy to apply using a paint brush, cloth, or sponge. It is completely colorless and has very little odor. The wax will protect all interior wooden/painted surfaces. It is water repellent so it can be used on dining room tables and in kitchens. We recommend applying the paint and waxing it for the best results. Wax can be tinted with Chalk Paint to make a colored wax. Our strong floor lacquer to go over Chalk Paint™ for wood or concrete surfaces. This is matte but there is a very slight sheen because we want to offer some strength. A matte finish is less strong than a shiny finish generally. These are the coolest lids! Made of heavy duty plastic (remember the great Tupperware from the 1970s?!) with a removable flip-top lid. The pour spout makes it easy to pour out your paint without making a mess along the rim of the can. There are holes on either side to aid in getting the paint to drip back nicely into the quart.
